@themattriots in the UK. I think I'm going to do a mini diary as well as the main tour diaries of favorite film shots throughout tours. Would you guys want to see all film diaries as well as the main tour diaries?
Working on the next tour Diary and mainly made gifs for the live shows so it's been nice revisiting some of my favorite tour moments and picking the best photos!
Can you tell which tour Diary I'm working on next?
@thescoremusic | Only One Tour Diary III.
@thescoremusic | Tour Diary Part II. I realized that i used the old logo last time so I changed it for this one and the next. This was around December 2017 and we stayed in some crazy snow in Michigan. Let me know which photo is your favorite!

Night Riots | Modern Nostalgia Tour Diary III
Coming to an end on the these diaries and the response has been amazing. I’m going to continue doing these and hoping to make them better and better for all of you. If there’s more you want to see with the diaries or more you’d like to know about the pictures or the process, let me know. This cover starts out with a group shot of the guys in New Orleans. After that is a shot of Travis catching some air which tends to scare more people than it should. Next is some square crops I really like of Rico and Travis with a background of an amazing sunset we saw on a long drive day. The next page is of an amazing photographer that I feel very lucky to have been around for the tour, Lupe is an amazing person and is a beautiful man with that rose in his mouth. The shot below his is from the last show of the tour when Dreamers & Night Riots came on stage when The Maine was ending their set. Near the end, there was some amazing crowds from Emo’s in Austin to the Van Buren to the House of Blues so I put some 3 crowd shots to fill out some backgrounds. Theres a group photo that was shot by Shelby of the tour package in the parking garage of the House of Blues in Anaheim. I can’t speak for anyone else but I know I linger around in these situations because I never want it to end. It’s always such a bitter sweet feeling to end a tour because you feel like you’ve accomplished so much but at the same time you just leave and then it’s over. I bet a lot of you feel the same when you come out to shows and get to see friends you’ve made from listening to these bands and then the show is over and you don’t want to leave, I definitely get that feeling. This tour was definitely a special one, there were so many amazing moments. I know it took me a long time to post that photo of Travis but it’s probably one of my favorite photos of him. We stopped at a gas station on one of two all day drives and we snapped these photos at golden hour and then got back to driving. Tour is so much fun but It is a grind so getting to look back on special moments like that make me feel very lucky. - Ben <3

The response to part I was so amazing, I almost felt like leaking part two later that day but I knew it’d be worth the wait. Every time I post one of these really reassures that this is something I need to continue doing because it feels special for me and I think special for a lot of you too. <3
For those of you that know Night Riots, you know that Halloween definitely brings out an elevated side of the band. So if a tour goes through Halloween, it is a special occasion. On this specific tour, I’d have to dress up in the skeleton costume (during my favorite song Back to Your Love) every single night and walk around on stage with pumpkin flashlights. Fun fact, I didn’t know I was doing that until the night of the first show. So I gave a few spaces in this diary to fit some Halloween photos because it was an amazing night at Delmar Hall in St. Louis, MO. @travishawley was the skeleton king and the guys had these awesome masks that I think we bought at a store that day. The next photo is a green room shot of Travis, @jacobleewick, and @elijahnoll. The one below it is a shot of @crosseyedtiger sharing some candy with Mikel and Nick. The shot of @ricorockandroll is at the amazing House of Blues Chicago. The shot of @thefifthjohn and @nickwold was a rare night where everyone got to spend some time hanging and I remember it really fondly because the tour was going great and everyone was so stoked for any moment to hang and not have a rushed conversation. Also, any time I can snap a photo of @satchmo is a moment I take. The last few are a shot of the guy at Union Transfer in Philly, the guys with Kennedy, and then two favorite shots of Travis from the tour. Can’t wait to show you all Part IIII coming tomorrow.
@nightriots | Modern Nostalgia Tour Diary I
Here is the first post of one of my favorite tours I’ve ever been a part of. The cover photo is a photo of @travishawley backstage right before the first show at The Regent theater. I had just gotten back from the Atlas Genius tour and I remember it felt really good to be back with my guys after not being on a tour with them since May. The next two photos were directly after the Sacramento show, our van broke down and we had to get it towed. There is also a picture of @elijahnoll & @satchmo in an Arcade bar on Halloween weekend in Denver. That was definitely one of the first nights that we got to really hang with the Dreamers crew and become closer. Dreamers had some van troubles so we gave them a ride to a hotel we were both at one night so I took this photo of @tylertedeschi & @jacobleewick in the Night Riots van while Travis and @nickwold sat beside me. That was one of the funnest nights because we just blasted a bunch of our favorite rap songs for them. The shows were amazing even though we had the trailer tire blow up on a day off but the guys fixed it easily. I’m pretty sure the picture of Travis and @ricorockandroll is in the alley behind a venue in Lawrence Kansas. The beginning of the tour was definitely a lot of getting to know everyone but we knew pretty early on that it was going to be a really amazing one. I’m ending this diary with one of the best people I’ve met touring, @vitodascoli. I’m so happy to share these Diaries with you guys. Please comment and tell me some of your favorite moments from this diary. Part II is coming tomorrow and we start with Halloween.
Tomorrow I am releasing part I of the Modern Nostalgia Tour Diary. Is anyone one stoked?!
