This is just part I of the over two month Zombies in America Tour with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Atlas Genius, and Night Riots. We started off the tour with a headlining tour in Fresno. The next day we headed over to Anaheim to start the official tour. We didn't really know anyone at first and this tour felt different because everyone had bigger crews but of course we were just trying to figure out the groove of the tour. We would eventually get to know everyone and find out that this tour would be one of the best.

Portraits | Advance Placement Tour 2016
I took the portraits of The Shelters outside of the Marquis Theater in Denver, CO. Before the show was ideal for the shots because it was our last show of the tour with them so I knew after would be crazy. The next night was the last show of the tour for us so we took some photos with The Hunna. I think everyone was feeling a little bummed about parting ways so we stuck around for as long as possible that night trying to savor the moment. I took the portraits of The Hunna outside of Club Sound in Salt Lake City, UT. All the portraits were shot with a Canon 5d Mrk III, a Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art Lens, and a Canon 430 ex II flash. At the bottom will be links of tour portraits I've done in the past.

Advanced Placement Tour | Nov. 1st - 15th
After being home for the entire summer, the Night Riots full length had come out and it was finally time to tour. I couldn't be happier to be back with my brothers in the van. We started the tour with some long drives and some amazing shows. All the equipment I used was a Canon 5d Mrk II & III, Sigma 50mm Art, 24-70mm L Series, and an Incase DSLR Pro Pack.
Favorite Photos of 2016
2016 is over and I'd like to share with you some of my favorite photos from this year. I am so grateful for all of the opportunities i've received this year. Touring with The Rocket Summer at the beginning of the year was amazing, then spending the whole summer working with Night Riots on their first full length release Love Gloom, and finally ending the year with a seriously amazing tour. I couldn't be happier and I can't wait to step it up in 2017!

BFD 2016 with Night Riots | June 3rd-4th
So I got to reunite with Night Riots this June to shoot the Live 105 BFD with them. They also played a show the night before as some sort of BFD pre-party thing. It was fun and I loved reuniting with these guys. I have to be honest though, I didn't take pictures of anyone else but them...Oops.
The guys had to get me a photo pass because I came short notice so they got me every pass...
Let The Kids Riot Tour Oct-Dec 2015
Halloween | Texas
The Let The Kids Riot Tour was so much fun to be on. With a lot more experience on the road after Warped, this was so much easier. We also all made a lot of friends and had some great times. After the tour ended in NJ, we played shows on the way home. Thanksgiving in PA, seeing Star Wars opening night in NM, and ending with a sold out home show, it was a great tour.
Let The Kids Riot Tour Portraits
I decided to take some portraits of everyone on the tour at the last show. For as DIY as they are, they didn't come out half bad. All I used was a Canon 430ex II, Canon 5d mark III, and 24-70mm f2.8. That isn't a bad set up but It definitely isn't as cool as what some other photographers do for tour portraits. The goal is always to improve but for now, these are the tools I had. So I just set everyone up right next to the Young Rising Sons bus, which had some white on it, pointed my flash at the bus at an angle until I found one I liked. I got a portrait of every single person on the tour, including the beloved crew, but somehow I missed Matt from Night Riots. Oops, sorry dude <3.
Warped Film Photos 2015
I took a film camera on warped with two or three rolls of Kodak Portra 400. I loved how the colors came out and I've been really excited to post these for a while now. As I was saying in my previous blog, I made friends with a bunch of merch people. These people were all rad and really made the experience dope. Also, it has been almost a year so I'm sorry if I forgot anyones name.
